Term 4 has started well. With spring upon us, the gardens and the central lawn are starting to recover from the winter cold and drought. We welcomed our learners back and were able back from the holidays and look forward to a short but busy term. The week began with the launch of a bullying awareness program which will both educate and sensitise our learners to the reality of bullying. This program will run throughout the term.
We are also trialing a split in our morning gatherings and will have separate assemblies for the Primary School and High School with a combined gathering on Fridays. A register teacher time slot has been introduced to allow register teachers to have more contact with their learners.
Our WiFi capacity has been upgrade to support greater use of internet at the school and to support staff in the use of technology. Lastly, murals have been painted on appropriate areas in the school to brighten up our schools grounds and an attractive informal seating area created under trees on the lawn.
Our matric will start their final examinations in a short while and we wish them well in their preparations for this challenge.
