Dear Parents

I write to you as the shutdown rolls on but with the hope that restrictions will be lifted and that many of us can get back to work. I am acutely aware of the financial toll this is taking on many of you and we are looking at ways that we may be of assistance financially. However, until we have a clearer picture of the future it is difficult to plan beyond the present scenario.

We will continue to run the online program and we are preparing for the eventual opening of the school, which is likely to be a phased process and start soon.

I have to reach out to the entire parent family and impress on those that can pay to do so as if the school folds, it will be a massive challenge to get it up and running again and ultimately it’s the learners who will suffer the most.

Our teachers are working normal school hours, and in some cases much longer, to continue to teach your children, but importantly, to help them deal with the lockdown. We all remain positive in the belief that although the new normal will be different, we will embrace the challenge and continue to deliver a quality education to your children. Schools in China are going back and reports are encouraging that they are able to implement a quality teaching and learning program.

In closing I have a message from a few of our school leaders for you and to share with your child/children https://youtu.be/Do7LEFZqKkw

As always, safe and stay health

Warmest regards

Brian
