Dear Parents
As we start the second week of the online teaching program, I would like to congratulate you and your children for the relative success that we have achieved. I fully understand that this has not been easy but I really admire the application and willingness to make it work that I have been made aware of.
It’s likely that the novelty will wear off over time so please get your child/children into a routine and work in the morning between 7.30 and 1.30. And please don’t contact the teachers after these times unless it’s really important. Of course they will help at any time but they too have families and responsibilities to manage.
I have attached a link to a short video for the learners from me. Please forward it to them. You may of course watch it if you have time. I believe its important that I stay in touch and make contact with as many learners as possible so your assistance here will be greatly appreciated. I will also circulate the link on other platforms.

We don’t know when the school will open again but we will continue to develop and improve the online learning efforts that we have in place. I will communicate any news I receive as soon as I hear an official statement from the DBE.
