Dear Parents
The current pandemic may be overshadowed at the moment by the violence and unrest in other parts of the country but nevertheless, remains front and center in our efforts to deliver an academic program to our learners.
The President announced an extension of the lockdown level 4 and the closure of schools until 26 July. The Foundation Phase will open on Monday 26th July and the Primary and High Schools will open with an online program on the 20th July. It would not be unwise to plan for a further extension of the lockdown and delayed start to term 3 and so it is important the Primary and High School learners engage from the 20th with the online learning program.
Please make note of the following
- Online lessons will, start for Grades 4 to 12 from Tuesday 20th July. We will continue to use the Edmodo platform and where possible run short video lessons.
- The Foundation Phase will open on Monday 26th July
- Teaching lessons will run according to the term two timetable and lessons will be delivered during the following times.
