Dear Parents, Friends and Staff
I start this newsletter with an inspirational quote “Never regret a day in your life. Good days give you happiness and bad days give you experience” Certainly this year has brought us our fair share of good days and bad days. However, we are almost at the end of the 2020 journey and can look back on our achievements. There will be time for a deeper reflection later but now it must be said that we have got this far with courage, resilience and faith and need to celebrate this achievement. It must be said that we still face an uncertain future and it is more important now than ever to be COVID vigilant and not succumb to pandemic fatigue at this stage. Stay safe – stay healthy
Examinations
Our Matrics have started their final push to the end of the year and their examinations are going ahead without incident. The rest of the school begins their assessments on Monday and we wish them well in their efforts to achieve good results.
Important Notice
- Please note that Monday is a normal school Day for all learners other than Grade 12. Grade 4 to Grade 11 will be given important information regarding the examinations.
- You are reminded that learners who do not meet the promotional requirements at the end of the year must reapply for admission to the school.
- We also need notification in writing should a learner not be returning to the school next year (other than Grade 12)
Thoughts on 2021
As the year draws to a close, our thoughts turn towards 2021. I am currently developing timetables and systems to accommodate our enrolments as they appear at the moment. The Covid specter still hangs over us and this does limit any planning with certainty. However, without consideration for grandiose plans, we will have direction for the first two terms of 2021. This will be communicated to you in due course.

Have a great weekend
Brian
